Short Notes of Structural Organization of Animals (Tissue)

JUNCTIONS:
a) Tight Junction:- stop substances from leaking

b) Adhering Junction:- perform cementing to keep cells together.

c) Gap Junction:- Connect cytoplasm of cells for communication.

{3} Muscular Tissue :-

a) Skeletal Tissue :-
* Muscles  are made from muscle fiber cells which in turn made from myofibrils Or myofilaments
* These muscles are attached to bones
* eg. :- Bicep
* straited Or striped appearance
* bundle of muscle fibers are enclosed by sheath of connective tissue (fascia)

b) Smooth Tissue:-
*Fusiform
* wall of internal organs such as small intestine, blood vessels and stomach
* Involuntary
* No striation

c) Cardiac Tissue:-
* Involuntary
* Muscles of Heart
* Intercalated Disc / Communication junction present for communication
* Cells are fused to each other

{4} Neural Tissue:-
* Unit :- Neuron
* Neuroglail cells makes more than 50% of neural tissue and protect and support neurons.
