First of all I would like to tell you that if you are studying for Neet 2024, don't be fooled to skip the deleted portion because may be examner make question from deleted topics and chapters then what will you do???
So i suggest you that if you are preparing for Neet, study the full syllabus don't skip a single chapter.
If you are student of class 11th then you can skip it. Because paper of boards will always be framed from your new syllabus of ncert.
Now see what are the major changes in New Ncert :- we will here discuss only about physics, chemistry and biology. First come on physics, new Ncert has not some topics in every chapters approx. Some topics in approx every chapter has been deleted from new NCERT. Now see you have not to skip a single topic of physics of any chapter because they have removed that topics which are basics to understand the other moderate or tough topic. Example :- some basic concepts of kinematics like speed, acceleration etc and similarly of other chapters has been removed. Now tell me if you will not understand these basic concepts, then how will you be able to pickup the strong concepts of physics either for boards or even for Neet Or JEE.
So i suggest you whatever chapter who want to study don't skip even it's single topic. Whatever topics and how many topics your teacher teaches you, you have to study all these.
Coming to the chemistry, I personally want to suggest you if you are studying chemistry from any online batch or any teacher, study everything and every chapters which are in New updated NCERT. And you can skip the removed chapters here for chemistry.
Coming to biology for 11th class new Ncert, read only what is in new ncert don't touch old ncert. Some topics of living world, morphology and anatomy and majority of structural organization in animals has been removed.
Apart from it entire chapter has also been deleted eg. :- Transport in Plant, Mineral Nutrition and Digestion and Absoption.
So do acc. to syllabus if you 11th class student
And Follow old ncert as well if you are dropper preparing for Neet-2024. And after neet-2024 we can tell you that should you study only updated syllabus or not because of the analysis of paper
